Dr. Yunda Huang serves as an Associate Professor at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center with dual appointments in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division and Public Health Sciences Division, and holds an Affiliate Associate Professor position in the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington.
Her educational background includes:
- PhD in Biostatistics from University of California (2003)
- BS in Statistics from Renmin University of China (1997)
Dr. Huang specializes in developing statistical methodologies for clinical trials of infectious disease interventions, with particular focus on vaccine and monoclonal antibody efficacy/safety assessment against HIV and SARS-CoV-2. Her research integrates immunological biomarker analysis and pharmacokinetic modeling of therapeutic antibodies to advance prevention and treatment strategies.
As a core member of the Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Epidemiology Program within the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division, she collaborates extensively with virologists, immunologists, and clinicians on translational research projects addressing global infectious disease challenges.
