Henrik Galligani Ræder is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Educational Measurement (CEMO) within the University of Oslo's Faculty of Educational Science. His primary research focuses on educational measurement, particularly in mathematics education and national assessment systems. He holds an MA in Didactics of Physics and Mathematics (2017) and has been a doctoral research fellow since 2017 under supervisors Rolf Vegar Olsen and Björn Andersson.
His methodological expertise includes differential item functioning, item response theory, and vertical scaling. Current projects include the 'Educational Measurement in the Norwegian Context' and 'A Scale for Numeracy.' He teaches courses like MAE4010 (Constructing Measures) and MAE4011 (Principles of Measurement), and organizes writing seminars for PhD candidates.
Key achievements include the 2021 University of Oslo Cultural and Social Activities Award. His work bridges statistical methodologies with practical educational assessment challenges, contributing to Norway's national numeracy test frameworks and equity-focused research in mathematics education.
