Helle Rydström is a Professor at Lund University's Department of Gender Studies, specializing in the anthropology of gender in Asia with a focus on Vietnam. She holds a MA in International Development Studies from Roskilde University and a Ph.D. from Linköping University. Her research explores crisis, precariousness, and resilience through a gendered lens, particularly in contexts of climate disasters, colonialism, and conflict.
