Catia Gregoratti is a Senior Lecturer at Lund University's Department of Political Science, specializing in global governance, corporate social responsibility, and feminist critiques of neoliberalism. She holds a BA in Economics and Politics from the University of York, an MA (Research) in International Political Economy, and a PhD, both from the University of Manchester.
Her research examines UN-business partnerships, multistakeholder initiatives, and corporate power in global governance, with recent focus on the corporate capture of gender equality discourses and alternatives to neoliberal feminism. She contributes to open-access journals Political Perspectives and Journal of International Organization Studies, and participates in the IPE Ø/Öresund network.
Gregoratti's recent scholarly output includes analyses of corporate social responsibility in the Global South, legitimacy dynamics in global institutions, and feminist degrowth theory. She has secured EU COST grants for visiting fellowships and collaborated on projects like Crisis Inequalities and Social Resilience and Degrowth initiatives. Her teaching integrates feminist research methodologies and global trade justice into Lund University’s Global Studies and Development Studies programs.
