Karl Agerup is Professor at the Department of Culture and Learning, Södertörn University. His research focuses on literature and politics, alongside subject didactics, with a background in French-language literature.

- Transformative literature teaching with didactic fiction (2026-2027): Collaborating with Olle Nordberg, Uppsala University, funded by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond and Södertörn University.
