Dr Helen Norman is an Associate Professor at the Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds. Her research focuses on fathers and fatherhood, gender inequalities in work and care, and early years education. She holds editorial roles at Work, Employment and Society and Families, Relationships and Societies, and advises organizations like the European Commission and UK government bodies.
She completed her PhD in Social Statistics at the University of Manchester, with prior MSc in Sociological Research Methods and BA in Sociology. Her work uses quantitative methods to analyze how policy and socio-demographics affect unpaid work and work-family reconciliation.
