Heather Elms is an Associate Professor of Management at the Kogod School of Business, American University in Washington, DC. She specializes in business ethics, corporate responsibility, and strategic management with a focus on global contexts, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe. Her research examines stakeholder responsibilities in industries like healthcare and security, emphasizing institutional pressures and managerial discretion. Elms holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), an M.A. from Columbia University, and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
