Hayley Pring is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and DPhil candidate in International Relations at the University of Oxford, affiliated with Nuffield College and the Climate Vulnerability Project led by Professor Federica Genovese. She holds a BA (Hons) from the Australian National University and an MPhil in International Relations from Oxford, where she received the Governor-Philip and Oxford-Australia scholarships. Her research integrates behavioral economics and psychology into international relations, focusing on cooperation challenges in climate change, war, and trade. She employs causal inference techniques and computational methods.
Her current research explores firm-level responses to climate change and the role of local media in shaping climate beliefs in developing nations. She has co-investigated projects on socio-economic-political risks in the Anthropocene. Her work bridges theoretical insights with empirical analysis, addressing global governance challenges.
