Anthony Calacino is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford's Department of Politics and International Relations, affiliated with the Climate Vulnerability Project led by Professor Federica Genovese. He holds a PhD in Government from the University of Texas at Austin (2023) and was a Fulbright Award recipient to Brazil (2022). His research focuses on environmental and climate politics in Latin America, particularly Brazil, examining public opinion, institutions, and state power. He teaches geospatial methods and is working on a book manuscript about the environmental state in the Global South.
