معرفی
Harry Hebert is a Population Health and Genomics Tutor in the Postgraduate Medicine school. He holds a PhD from the University of Manchester, an MSc from Imperial College London, and a BSc from University of Nottingham. His research focuses on genetic epidemiology, particularly in neuropathic pain and the genetic basis of conditions like psoriasis. He investigates pharmacogenomics in pain management, including gabapentinoid prescribing patterns and misuse.
Education:
- Doctor of Philosophy (2015), University of Manchester
- Master of Science (2010), Imperial College London
- Bachelor of Science (2009), University of Nottingham
Research Interests: Harry's work bridges genetics and clinical practice, emphasizing genome-wide association studies for pain-related conditions. He collaborates on projects like the PhaRmacoepidemiology Of NEuropathic Pain (PRONE) initiative and studies the impact of drug reclassification on prescribing trends.
Advising & Grants: He has led projects funded by the National Institute of Academic Anaesthesia, including analyses of gabapentinoid misuse and predictors of medication response in diabetic neuropathy. He co-organized the Alleviate & CAPE Conference 2024, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue in pain research.
Key Collaborations: His network includes institutions globally, focusing on genetic profiling, drug epidemiology, and neuropathic pain phenotyping.
