Hans Pollnow (1902–1943) was a German physician and psychiatrist renowned for pioneering work in child psychopathology. He held positions at the Charité in Berlin, including voluntary assistant in psychiatry and neurology, and contributed to foundational research on hyperkinetic disorders. His collaboration with Franz Kramer led to the 'Kramer-Pollnow Syndrome,' a precursor to modern ADHD concepts. After Nazi dismissal in 1933, he worked in France, lecturing at the Sorbonne and aiding Jewish refugees. Arrested in 1943, he was murdered in Mauthausen concentration camp.
