Stephan Bender

Stephan Bender is a Professor of Clinical Neurophysiology in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Technical University of Dresden since 2011. He previously held roles such as Deputy Medical Director and Head of the Neurophysiological Laboratory at Goethe University Frankfurt (2009–2010) and Senior Consultant at the University of Heidelberg (2007–2009). His expertise spans clinical neurophysiology, focusing on ADHD, psychotic disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. He employs advanced methods like multi-channel EEG, TMS, and neuroimaging to study neural mechanisms of cognitive and emotional self-regulation.
