Hannes Kerber is an Assistant Professor of Political Philosophy at Boston College, specializing in 18th-century political thought. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Munich. Previously, he served as Academic Program Director at the Carl Friedrich von Siemens Stiftung and Lecturer at the University of Munich. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University (2022–2023) and a visiting professor at Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, Italy (2024).
