Hannah Franziska Feiler is a researcher at the DFG Research Training Group 2477 'Aesthetic Practice' at the University of Hildesheim's Institute of Philosophy. Her PhD project, 'Performing Politics. Political potentials within contemporary dance,' examines how dance critiques normative spatial and bodily orders through Jacques Rancière's 'Distribution of the Sensible' and Judith Butler's theories. She holds a BA in Philosophy, Arts, and Media (2012) and an MA in Philosophy and Intercultural Arts (2016), both from the University of Hildesheim, with a semester abroad at Université Montpellier III.
Her work bridges artistic practice and theoretical inquiry, including roles as project coordinator for Compagnie Fredeweß (2019–2022), dramaturg, and tutor. Key lectures include presentations at Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris (2024) and workshops on decolonizing aesthetic practices. She has translated academic works on radical democracy and social movements.
