Dr. Katrin Felgenhauer is a researcher at the Institute of Philosophy, University of Leipzig, affiliated with the Humanities Center. Her academic journey includes a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Hildesheim (2021) and postdoctoral research funded by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation (2022-2023). She has held research positions at Leipzig and Hildesheim universities, focusing on philosophical anthropology, phenomenology, and embodiment theories. Currently, she explores the (In)Compatibility of Cognitive Science and Phenomenology in Embodiment Debates.

Publications span 10+ years, emphasizing embodiment, performativity, and ontological debates. She co-edited Macht:Denken (2018) and authored Fremdes zwischen Uns (2022). Awards include the Fritz Thyssen Fellowship and summa cum laude for her dissertation.
