Hanna Scheffold is a scientific researcher and doctoral candidate at the Ludwig Uhland Institute for Historical and Cultural Anthropology at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen since September 2024. She holds a Master of Arts (2024) in Empirical Cultural Studies with a specialization in Diversity from the University of Tübingen, and a Bachelor of Arts (2021) in Cultural and Media Education from Pädagogische Hochschule Ludwigsburg. Her research focuses on gender-sensitive approaches to child-rearing, explored through interviews with parents and educators in her master’s thesis Unlearning Gender: Strategies Against the Dramatization of Gender in Everyday Life with Children.
At the Ludwig Uhland Institute, she also serves as Academic Coordinator for International Studies, supporting cross-border academic initiatives. Her work bridges empirical cultural analysis with sociocultural dynamics, emphasizing participatory methodologies in studying everyday practices. She teaches courses like Introduction to Cultural Anthropological Research Fields at the undergraduate level.
