Haiyuan Yu is the Tisch University Professor of Computational Biology at Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. His research focuses on biomedical systems biology, integrating high-throughput experimental data with computational methods to understand genetic diseases, protein interactions, and disease mechanisms. He leads the Yu Lab, developing tools like MAGMa for proteomic analysis and DeepERA for drug-target prediction.
Research Interests include quantitative systems biology, statistical genetics, machine learning applications in genomics, and molecular evolution. His work bridges computational modeling and experimental validation, addressing challenges in cancer genomics, protein interactome mapping, and precision medicine.
