Michelle Heck

Michelle Heck is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Cornell University's School of Integrative Plant Science and a Research Molecular Biologist at the USDA Agricultural Research Service Robert W. Holley Center. She leads a vector biology research group at the Boyce Thompson Institute (BTI), focusing on molecular interactions between plant pathogens, insect vectors, and plant hosts.

• Broad research areas include Plant Pathology, Entomology, Molecular Biology, Vector Biology, and Proteomics
• Develops pest management tools for insect vector-borne plant diseases
