Götz Bachmann is Professor for Media Anthropology and Methodological Innovation at the University of Siegen, currently working at 50% capacity due to parental leave. He leads research in media anthropology and methodological innovation, serving as Speaker of the Media Studies Seminar. Previously, he held professorships at the University of Bremen (Public Anthropology, 2020-2023) and Leuphana University Lüneburg (Digital Cultures, 2014-2020), and was a Research Fellow at Stanford University.
His education includes:
