Gunilla Stenberg is an Associate Professor at the Department of Community Medicine and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Medicine, Umeå University. She combines her academic role with clinical employment at Robertsfors Health Center, dividing her time between teaching, research, and clinical practice.

Her research focuses on rehabilitation, particularly chronic pain management, with a strong emphasis on gender perspectives, disability research, and health economics.
