Gunilla Liedberg is an Associate Professor at Linköping University's Faculty of Medicine, Department of Social and Welfare Studies (ISV). Her research focuses on chronic pain, fibromyalgia, celiac disease, and Rett syndrome, particularly examining how these conditions affect labor market participation and daily life.
She has developed instruments for assessing symptom impact and cultural competence in healthcare, with cross-cultural research implications. Her recent work includes digital health tools for return-to-work programs, such as mobile apps and coaching interventions for chronic musculoskeletal pain.
