Dr. Guido Conaldi is an Associate Professor in Organisational Sociology at the University of Greenwich's School of Business, Operations and Strategy. A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE), he integrates research on technology-society interactions with pedagogical innovation. His interdisciplinary work bridges organisational sociology, social network analysis, and innovation studies.
Research examines how emerging technologies (AI, blockchain) reshape organisational dynamics, with current projects on knowledge transfer in virtual spaces, policy diffusion of digital tokens, and GenAI's impact on higher education. Methodological contributions include advancements in quantitative and mixed-method social network analysis.
Educational background includes a PhD from Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies and an MSc from the London School of Economics. Leadership roles include organizing the 6th European Conference on Social Networks (EUSN2022), serving as Faculty Technology-Enhanced Learning Tutor, and Programme Lead for GBS PGR Programmes (2016-2024), during which he implemented enhanced research training models.
Dr. Conaldi has supervised six PhD students to completion and maintains memberships in the International Network for Social Network Analysis (INSNA). His research appears in Organization Science, R&D Management, Organizational Research Methods, Social Networks, and Regulation and Governance.
