Dr. Xianhui Che is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London, part of the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. She serves as Programme Director for the BSc (Eng) in Intelligent Science and Technology and Telecommunications Engineering with Management within the Joint Programme/Joint Educational Institute (JP/JEI) between QMUL and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). She holds a Senior Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
Her research spans multimedia, education technology, and telecommunication systems. Key areas include AI-driven creative production assessment frameworks, IoT applications, social sensing networks, and mobile gaming analysis in China. She leads initiatives like the Digital Portfolio Resource Centre to enhance student employability and has pioneered peer-assessment methodologies recognized by QMUL’s Technology-Enhanced Learning Team.
Dr. Che teaches modules such as Interactive Media Design and 3D Graphics Programming. Her work bridges theoretical research and practical applications, with contributions to underwater sensor networks, optical packet switching, and network protocol design. She actively collaborates on projects like cloud technology adoption in Nigerian higher education and technology readiness models in developing countries.
