Greg Rose is a Professor at the University of Wollongong, affiliated with the Australian National Centre for Ocean Resources and Security (ANCORS) and the School of Law. His research focuses on international law of the sea, environmental protection mechanisms, counter-terrorism legal frameworks, and transnational crime. He has held academic leadership roles, including Professorships since 2010 and Chair of the UOW Academic Senate (2020–2022). His recent projects include universalizing enforcement mechanisms against transnational fisheries crimes and analyzing Myanmar’s wildlife trafficking legislation reforms.
