Gordana Collier is the Head of the School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics at Oxford Brookes University. A strategic academic leader with expertise in mechatronics, embedded systems, and engineering pedagogy, she holds a strong background in industry collaboration and curriculum innovation. Previously, she served as Associate Professor at Kingston University and Programme Lead for Mechanical Engineering at Oxford Brookes.
Her research focuses on advancing teaching methods in Science and Engineering and optimizing battery technologies. Notable achievements include a National Instruments award for graphical programming integration in education and leading the Oxford Brookes Racing Formula Student team. She has secured grants totaling over £300,000, including projects with Chess-Dynamics Ltd and McGregor Ltd.
