Judge Glen A. Huff is a Senior Lecturing Fellow and adjunct professor at William & Mary Law School, where he teaches Professional Responsibility. He currently serves as a Judge on the Court of Appeals of Virginia, a position he has held since 2011, including a four-year term as Chief Judge. Prior to this, he practiced law for nearly 35 years, specializing in medical malpractice, business litigation, and admiralty law. He has tried numerous jury trials and handled high-profile cases, including national counsel roles for Cessna Aircraft Corporation.
His professional recognitions include AV Preeminent ratings and listings in Best Lawyers in America, Virginia Legal Elite, and Super Lawyers. He has authored legal publications and lectured extensively on topics like arbitration and cross-examination. Judge Huff has held leadership roles in multiple legal and community organizations, including the Virginia Beach Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, and various charitable boards.
He previously founded an internet arbitration company and served as a faculty member for the Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Course. His legal career began as a law clerk to Chief Judge Richard B. Kellam in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
