Amy Richardson is a Senior Lecturer at the Georgetown University Law Center and an Adjunct Professor at Duke Law, where she teaches courses on ethics and the law of lawyering. She is also a partner at Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis in Washington, D.C. and Raleigh, co-chairing the Legal Ethics and Malpractice group. Her practice spans disciplinary investigations, law firm governance, and complex civil litigation.
- Education: JD, cum laude, from Duke Law School; BA, summa cum laude, from the University of North Carolina.
Her research and professional work focus on legal ethics, malpractice litigation, and government enforcement. She has served as counsel in high-profile cases such as U.S. v. Price, Zaborsky & Ward and Hatfill v. Ashcroft, the latter involving a landmark Privacy Act settlement.

Richardson clerked for Judge Carlton Tilley of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
