Giuseppe James Raviola, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Associate Professor of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He directs the Program in Global Mental Health and Social Change (PGMHSC) at HMS, the Chester M. Pierce, MD Division of Global Psychiatry at MGH, and serves as Mental Health Director for Partners In Health (PIH). His work focuses on global mental health equity, clinical psychiatry, and integrating social factors into healthcare systems.

Recipient of multiple awards, including the 2022 Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and the 2021 Bruno Lima Award in Disaster Psychiatry, his contributions span clinical leadership, education, and advocacy for marginalized populations.
