Gillian Yeowell

Professor Gillian Yeowell holds the position of Professor of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Health and Wellbeing at Manchester Metropolitan University. She is a qualified physiotherapist with professional memberships including the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), and a Fellow of Advance HE. Her research focuses on musculoskeletal health outcomes, patient safety, and clinical negligence, with particular attention to minority groups' healthcare experiences.

Prior roles include Deputy Head of Faculty Research and Ethics Governance, Programme Leader for MSc Advanced Physiotherapy, and NIHR Advisory Committee Member.
