Gail Forrester-Gale

Gail Forrester-Gale is a Senior Lecturer at Coventry University, specializing in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and manual therapy. She has held this position for 13 years, teaching on both undergraduate physiotherapy and postgraduate MSc Manual Therapy programs. As Course Director for the MSc Manual Therapy, she oversees this specialized postgraduate offering.

She earned her MSc in Manual Therapy in 1997. Her research focuses include cervical spine mechanics, craniocervical spine dynamics, diagnostic methodologies, pain mechanisms, and craniocervical ligament analysis. These interests are reflected in her clinical teaching and scholarly work within physiotherapy education.

Before joining Coventry University, Gail worked as a lecturer-practitioner and held clinical roles in musculoskeletal physiotherapy from 1991-1997. She maintains professional affiliations with the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
