Dr. Gillian Kingston is an Executive Fellow at King’s Business School and Director of Research and Strategy at Coimisiún na Meán. Her roles span academic and strategic leadership in research, with a focus on health, societal impact, and policy. She previously served as Research Advancement Manager at Meta, Research Director at M&C Saatchi World Services, and Senior Research Manager at BBC Media Action. Gillian has also taught Quantitative Research Methods at Trinity College Dublin and held government research roles in Ireland.
Education: She holds a PhD in Sociology and an MSc in Applied Social Research Methods from Trinity College Dublin.
Research interests include maternal and child health, infectious diseases, sexual and reproductive health, education, migration, and the societal impacts of social media. Her work bridges public health, behavior change, and policy evaluation. Gillian is affiliated with the I-LEAD Centre at King’s Business School, focusing on innovation and leadership in education and development.
