Georgie Bennett is a Senior Lecturer at Falmouth University, specializing in illustration through reportage and narrative projects. She is also a freelance illustrator for clients like The Folio Society and Elementum Journal, with a focus on location-inspired work created en plein air and through virtual travel.

Research interests include visual studies, documentary illustration, and sequential imagery, with a particular emphasis on community engagement through drawing. Her work explores the intersection of physical and virtual travel in creative practice.
Professional engagements include leading workshops at Down House (Charles Darwin's home) and Dunton Green village, as well as organizing the Sketchbook eVenture online drawing series (2021 onwards). She has participated in symposiums like TRANSITUS (2022) and Drawing Lockdown II (2022).
