Dr Georgia Rowley is a Research Fellow at Flinders University, affiliated with the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work (SWIRLS) and multiple institutes including the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the Research Centre for Palliative Care, Death and Dying. Her work focuses on qualitative social health research, particularly among vulnerable populations like culturally diverse migrants and refugees. She holds a PhD from Flinders University (2017) and a Bachelor (Honours) in Sociology (2009).

Dr Rowley is committed to inclusive research practices, using languages like Greek to engage marginalized communities. Her work contributes to UN SDGs related to health equity and education. She has received awards such as the Gary Andrews Student Award (2012) and Golden Key Honour Society (2007).
She has organized conferences, led workshops on qualitative methods (e.g., HLTH 3102), and advised on policy responses to domestic violence and palliative care workforce diversity.
