Gary Hellick serves as Professor of Trombone at Wayne State University since 2007 and Professor of Low Brass at Concordia University Ann Arbor, maintaining an active dual academic appointment while performing as a freelance trombonist and bass trombonist across the Detroit metropolitan area.
