He investigates how these processes contribute to white matter injury, cognitive dysfunction, and tau pathology.
His funded projects include studies on Alzheimer's disease mechanisms (NINDS), estrogen receptor contributions to hypertension (NHLBI), and neurovascular impacts of dietary salt (NINDS).
