Frank Weyher is an Associate Professor of Sociology at the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work, Kansas State University, within the College of Arts and Sciences. He joined the faculty in 2004 after earning a Ph.D. in Sociology from UCLA (2003) and a B.S. in Mathematics from Regis University (1989).
His research focuses on emotions in social theory, political economy of mass migration from El Salvador, alienation, crime, labor history, class stratification, urban change, and social inequality. He has published in top journals like The American Journal of Sociology and Labor History, and co-authored the award-winning article on interracial working-class solidarity (2001).

- Teaching: Courses include Sociology of Emotions, Sociology of Culture, Comparative/Historical Methods, Social Theory, Urban Sociology, and Labor History.
