Francis Mulleady is a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Marketing and Entrepreneurship department at Aston Business School, part of Aston University in Birmingham, UK. With over 25 years of experience in UK Higher Education, he previously held Senior Lecturer roles at Oxford Brookes University and the University of Westminster.

His research focuses on the impacts of YouTube critical influencers on strategic decision-making by brand managers in high-tech sectors. He has designed and led postgraduate modules such as Digital Advertising (BMM608) and Content Marketing for Digital Media (BMM663), and served as Programme Director for Aston’s MSc. Strategic Digital Marketing program launched in 2022.
Mulleady has engaged in consultancy projects with Taiwanese companies in the cycling and tech sectors, advising on UK/EU market entry strategies, and provided corporate training in digital transformation for Nigerian public sector employees in Dubai and Washington, DC. His professional qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing and Certified Digital Marketer status from the Digital Marketing Institute.
