Francesca Fiorentino is a Research Professor with a focus on clinical trials and medical statistics, contributing to research in oncology, dermatology, and emergency medicine. She holds academic qualifications from Imperial College London (BSc and MSc in Physics) and University College London (DSc in Mathematical Modelling). Her research addresses UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being, emphasizing evidence-based interventions. She leads and co-investigates multiple NIHR-funded projects, including studies on EMS staff safety, pulmonary rehabilitation, and incontinence-associated dermatitis prevention. Recent work includes randomized controlled trials on prostate cancer screening (IP1-PROSTAGRAM) and obesity treatment (EMBIO trial).
