Christopher Peters is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Upper GI Department at Imperial College London's Faculty of Medicine. He holds dual roles as a Clinical Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant Upper GI and General Surgeon at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. His research focuses on translating biomarkers and diagnostic technologies into clinical practice, including developing the Biomarker Toolkit and advancing intraoperative cancer detection via diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. He leads the NIHR-funded PICCOS trial exploring pressurised intraperitoneal chemotherapy.

Grants & Trials: Leads the NIHR-funded PICCOS trial and co-leads the NIHR HRC In-vitro Diagnostics initiative. His work has been supported by CRUK and the International Cancer Genome Consortium.
