Professor Omer Aziz holds a Manchester Academic Health Science Centre Honorary Clinical Chair at the University of Manchester and serves as Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. He specializes in cytoreductive surgery with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (CRS/HIPEC) for peritoneal malignancies, performing approximately 200 procedures annually. His research focuses on surgical oncology, biomarker development, and medical technology innovation.
