Dr. Firew Tiba is a Senior Lecturer in International Law at Deakin Law School, Faculty of Business and Law, Deakin University, Australia. He has previously held academic positions at the University of Waikato (New Zealand), the University of Hong Kong (as postdoctoral fellow and research officer), and was a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and Public International Law in Heidelberg, Germany.
