Filipa Castanheira is a Professor at the Nova School of Business and Economics, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, specializing in Organizational Behavior. She coordinates the Management & Organizations group and serves as President of the Pedagogical Council.

Her research focuses on human resource management, employment relationships, and stress/well-being at work. Journal articles analyze topics like teleworking, temporary employment, job design, and organizational politics across diverse sectors (healthcare, military, call centers).
Castanheira teaches Leadership and Change Management in the Masters in Management program and Social Behavior and Exemplary Research in the PhD in Management. She previously directed the PhD in Management and currently oversees multiple executive education programs including the Post-graduation degree in Programa de Gestão Aplicada.
