Filipa Sobral

Filipa Sobral is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology, Catholic University of Portugal (FEP-UCP), where she also coordinates the Master's degree in Psychology and Human Resource Development. She is affiliated with the Research Center for Human Development (CEDH) and previously contributed to the Research Center for Psychological Science at the University of Lisbon.

Her research focuses on human resource development in flexible work contexts, work-life balance, teleworking, and occupational stress. She explores intersections between organizational psychology and mental health, particularly during crises like the COVID-19 pandemic.

Recent publications analyze topics such as work-life spillover effects, telework dynamics, and leadership strategies during crises. These works span methodologies like systematic reviews, case studies, and psychometric analyses, reflecting her engagement with both theoretical and applied research.

She actively participates in academic activities (171 recorded), including conferences, workshops, and media contributions on themes like quiet quitting and teleworking.
