Dr. Fatima Tresh is a Visiting Professor at Cranfield School of Management, Cranfield University. She holds a PhD from the University of Kent's Centre for the Study of Group Processes, focusing on gender diversity and leadership evaluation. Currently, she leads EY UK's DE&I strategy and advises the Parker Review Committee on ethnic diversity in UK business leadership. Her research explores identity dynamics, organizational politics, and stereotyping impacts on leadership potential for women and older workers.
Her work spans peer-reviewed articles in journals like Human Relations and Frontiers in Psychology, addressing topics such as racialized cognitive scripts, gender/age stereotypes, and workplace culture. She co-authored critical reviews for the Equality and Human Rights Commission and the Financial Reporting Council. Dr. Tresh's 'Women to Watch' initiative highlights ethnic minority women in leadership, combining academic insights with practical DE&I strategy design for FTSE 350 companies.
Research interests include organizational culture's role in DE&I, leadership potential evaluation biases, and intersectional barriers for marginalized groups. She has contributed to studies on ethnic disproportionality in medical fitness-to-practice referrals and intersectional stereotypes affecting career progression.
