Professor Sue Vinnicombe, CBE, is a distinguished academic and expert in women's leadership and gender diversity, based at the Cranfield School of Management, Cranfield University. She holds the title of Professor of Women and Leadership and leads the Gender, Leadership and Inclusion Centre (GLIC), focusing on equity and inclusion in the workplace. Her research explores barriers to women's leadership, corporate board diversity, and work-life balance. Professor Vinnicombe has advised organizations globally and contributed to influential reports like the annual Female FTSE Board Report, which tracks women’s representation on UK boards. She is a leader in advocacy, founding the Women in the City Awards and serving on key committees such as the Davies Steering Committee and the Hampton-Alexander Review.
