Fanny CAPEAU serves as an Assistant Professor in the Marketing Department at KEDGE Business School. She holds a PhD in Management Sciences from IAE Aix-Marseille (2021) and graduated from the HEC Grande École Program in 2007. Prior to her academic career, she accumulated approximately ten years of industry experience as Marketing and Development Director in SMEs and large corporations within the cosmetics and environmental biotechnology sectors.
Her research interests focus on marketing strategy, product and service innovation, relationship marketing, consumer engagement, and alternative consumption, with particular emphasis on integrating sustainability into marketing practices. This thematic consistency is evident across her publications which address clean beauty, plant-based products, consumer engagement models, and ethical branding.
Her recent publications demonstrate a strong trend toward practical applications of marketing theory in specific industry contexts, particularly in sustainable product categories. The research shows progression from theoretical consumer engagement models to applied case studies in food, beverage, and beauty sectors with sustainability themes.
Since 2015, Professor Capeau has been teaching in KEDGE's MSc and PGE programs, integrating her professional experience into experiential learning through workshops, case studies, and business-integrated educational systems. Her teaching approach emphasizes practical application of marketing concepts with real business contexts.
