Dr. Ewan Carr is a Senior Lecturer in Biostatistics at King's College London's Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics, part of the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN). He previously worked at University College London in the Epidemiology and Public Health Department. His academic credentials include a MSc in Social Research Methods and Statistics and a PhD in Social Statistics from the University of Manchester.
His research focuses on applying advanced statistical techniques to longitudinal and clinical datasets to understand treatment effects and mental-physical health interactions. Key areas include latent variable modeling, multilevel analysis, survival analysis, and machine learning.
