Evelyne Clerc is a full tenured Professor of European Union (EU) law and Competition law at the University of Neuchâtel's Faculty of Law since 2006. She currently serves as president of the board of the Institut de Droit de la Santé (IDS) at the University of Neuchâtel (2020-present) and as a board member of the Institut de Droit European at the University of Friborg (2006-present). Previously, she held leadership roles as Vice-Dean (2014-2016) and Dean (2016-2018) of the Faculty of Law, served as Commissioner in the Swiss Competition Commission (2005-2015), and acted as a judge in the Swiss Board of Appeals for Federal Government Procurements (1996-2006), alongside legal practice in Geneva, Zurich, and Brussels law firms.
Her academic credentials include:

- Master in EU Law, College of Europe in Bruges (1989)
- LL.M, New York University School of Law (1998)
She is admitted to the bar in Geneva (1991) and New York (1999). Her research spans Competition Law (EU/Swiss), Public Procurement Law, EU Economic Integration (free movement of goods/persons/services/capital), Swiss-EU Bilateral Relations, and EU Institutional Law, with specific focus on algorithmic collusion in digital markets. Teaching responsibilities encompass Competition Law and Policy, EU Internal Market Law, thematic seminars on algorithms in competition law, European Law Moot Court competitions, and European Institutional Law at both Bachelor and Master levels.
