Jean-Paul Vulliety

Professor Jean-Paul Vulliety is a Full Professor in Business Law at the Geneva School of Economics and Management (GSEM), University of Geneva. He holds a dual role as an attorney-at-law and academic, serving as a partner at the law firm LALIVE since 1998. His expertise spans international commercial transactions, arbitration, and corporate law, with a focus on sectors like energy (oil & gas), pharmaceuticals, transport, and real estate. He leads the Geneva University Master and Diploma of International Trading programs and chairs the Business Law department at GSEM.

Education: PhD (summa cum laude) in International Business Law and D.E.S. in Swiss Contract Law from the University of Geneva.

Research Interests: Specializes in international commercial arbitration under ICC/UNCITRAL/Swiss Rules, cross-border contracts (e.g., Vienna Convention), and legal frameworks for global industries.
