Dr. Eva Cheuk-Yin Li is a Lecturer in Sociology (Media and Cultural Studies Team) at Lancaster University's School of Arts. Her research focuses on transnational queer media and fandom, gender/sexuality intersections, and digital culture. Affiliated with the Centre for Gender Studies and Fan Studies Lancaster, she explores topics like Girls Love media in Thailand, queer Sinophone studies, and Hong Kong migrant communities.

She has co-edited special sections on Media, Culture and Society and contributes to public discourse via interviews on queer media and Hong Kong cultural politics.
